Kayak Network has attracted many kinds of advertisers. Our partners include individual properties, hotel brands, travel agencies and tour operators, as well as related partners such as insurance, guide books, and travel products.
Kayak Network currently offers three advertising opportunities - hotel search placements, sponsored link placements and ad placements in our promotional emails. Hotel results placements increase the ranking of the default search results when a traveler searches for properties on Kayak. Advertisers are listed at the top of our results. Sponsored Link placements are text ads positioned to the right of Kayak's search results. For more details, see our advertising page.
On Kayak Network, you control the cost of placements, based on your goals. All placements are based on traveler activity, so you are only paying when travelers select your placement. Plus Kayak Network will automatically lower your bid to a $.01 more than the next highest bid, so you are not wasting money. The budget can be as large or small as you like.
Kayak Network (KN) is a tool that allows partners and advertisers to control the display and placement of their services on Kayak. Using KN, you can create highly targeted placements, with payment based on customer activity not placement display.
Kayak Network identifies all the placements that would apply to a traveler's search. Kayak Network then ranks the placements based on each placement's click through rate (CTR) and maximum cost per click (Maximum CPC) to determine the order of campaigns. This ensures that your placement is not locked out based on price. Placements that travelers prefer are listed higher in the sort order.

The traveler dates calendar allows advertisers to target campaigns based on their marketing needs. By selecting dates in the calendar, your campaign will only be displayed when travelers are searching for those dates. With this ability, you can concentrate marketing spend on need dates, rather than spending money to drive demand when it is not needed.
Yes, if you are creating a hotel results placement, you can use your forecast to identify upcoming dates with low occupancy and specify those travel dates to target guests searching for those dates. Simply click on the travel dates in the calendar (under the TARGET tab) that you would like to target.
